I don't know if you saw my post yesterday. I said that the market is so oversold that it can have a huge rally for just any reason whatsoever. We were simply out of sellers. This indicator is one of my own creation. When it is above the upper line, the market is on thin ice. And when it is below it, it is worthwhile to fight the tape because it does not remain below the line for long. These lines mark extreme level. Yesterday it closed in the buy zone. I created Sentiment Channel Index (SCI) to behave similar to CCI. The odds of a rally are up strongly when it falls below the bottom line, and the market is on thin ice when it is above the top line.
