"new scientific results". LOL there is no new scientific results on masks. Also i posted a video about masks that apparently you are ignoring. Why is that? Inconvenient truth? Doesnt play into the false narrative? Have some integrity and respond

Basically they deny Dr. Fauci's right to change his mind and change it often based on new scientific results.
Absolutely. The problem is there were no new scientific results. The science on masking is essentially the same place it was in 2019.

I really spent a lot of time looking for the science, Ten. What I found did NOT support the use of masks.

Here's one of my favorites, cited by the CDC article ( Causal impact of masks, policies, behavior on early covid-19 pandemic in the U.S - PubMed (nih.gov)):

This article, should you choose to view it, is without any doubt the worst article I've ever seen in my life. In graduate school, my work as a researcher was for Dr. Singh, a professor of Econometrics. He was very brief and to-the-point, and his work extremely concise. I cannot imagine what he would say about this heaping pile. But here it is:

Causal impact of masks, policies, behavior on early covid-19 pandemic in the U.S. - PMC (nih.gov)

Seriously, this is one of the ten articles they chose to put forward in support masking, and it may be the biggest pile of ridiculous nonsense on which I ever laid eyes. It needed a rubber stamp that said, "Don't read this gobbledegook, just chalk it up as one in favor of masking!"

To be clear, I don't oppose masking for those who feel better about wearing one. If it provides a sense of security for some then they should use them. They should not, IMO, impose them on their children, but that's the parents' call, ultimately.

It is water under the bridge at this point. But when people around here started dumping masks, I understood why they were finally doing it (note - even many doctor's offices here dumped them pretty early, although the big operations didn't. My physician's office, which has about 30-40 physicians, dumped them early; OTOH, my wife's heart surgeon was at Michael Debakey held out until the last minute).

Our provincial Health Officer flip flopped too at the beginning of the pandemic saying masks wouldn't help and then they would. I believe they both got better info as time went on, the masks protects others more than the person wearing them.
