Will spend some time watching a few things over the next few days...

The context varying in relative terms depending on the currency... also allows China to claim a "just barely" positive GDP so far this year... if and as calculated in terms of a devalued Yuan. Calculated in dollar terms, though, they say... it comes in as a minus 9%.

The ongoing real estate implosion... still not being dealt with in useful fashion... and still a source of large and thus far mostly unrealized contagion risks... that will have a 300% debt to GDP ratio imposing constraints that also have not been fully recognized yet.

A technological innovation wrinkle to occur perhaps in the Buffetism re "when the tide goes out, you can see who's not wearing swim trunks"... as, this time, perhaps, "when the tide goes out... you can see who it is that's been taking your swim trunks" ?
