Hi Bob

Oct 9th was the bottom in 2002
and it was tested a few months later

Please don't talk about that guy who called bottoms all the way down to 675 or 666 or whatever than acts like he was correct. He recently bet his reputation on the bottom being in earlier this year and vowed to leave SI if he was wrong. Wasn't that in the 4000s? Here we are 10% lower and he remains. He lied and remains despite being very wrong. I prefer to not have his nonsense promoted here as it might give lurkers who are not good at due diligence the wrong idea. I hope you understand.

The bottom on Oct 9th of 2002 was tested with a slightly higher low... certainly tradable, but not straight up.

It looks like the IMX is calling a bottom
The Investor Movement Index, or the IMX, is a proprietary, behavior-based index created by TD Ameritrade designed to indicate the sentiment of retail investors.
