To Thread: I want to thank you all for your comments on my questions of programming portability! If I wanted to 'fix' (assuming that a 'total rewrite' was not possible) W95 (W98) to perform the way that 'it should', what would be the first on the 'hit' list? I would like to see some kind of recovery from the web when it hangs my computer! ( I get my hangs when on the net, but I spend so much time on the net since I found you 'guys', that my system hangs more often! It 'hung' this morning 3 times while I was selling some MSFT and buying CPQ and DELL! ;-) Of course that was fixed by 'hard reset' since <ctrl><alt><delete> didn't work!) I the 'display' (visual) OK, or would you change that more like W3.11? Ideas? Ken
