bw, Baird and Ken, I already said I really didn't know about RIG's presence in GOM but glad you pointed out the facts.

bw - how is the house? Is the soil still soggy or beginning to dry up?

Traveling Man - better stick to SEV. You ain't going to find a gangbuster rush here in the drillers anytime soon. NBR has been discussed here lately and the news is no good. The land drillers are experiencing softness in their business and we do not yet know if things will pick up after this spring. Stay away from them for now. Buy a deepwater if you want. There are plenty of recommendations for RIG here on this board. I would look at DO, ATW, FLC and NE as well. However, if we can see crude stabilizing above $17-$18 this year (hopefully second half), bet on the land drillers then. NBR, together with the high beta UTI and PTEN, will make you spin oil into gold.
