This is actually very positive, when viewed in light of the viability questions they've had to overcome. This is the first quarter that IFMX has proven itself to be a viable company since that crook/clown who shall remain nameless hightailed it out of the country.

With a profit under its belt, IFMX will begin to draw the prospects who eliminated it from the short list based on viability questions alone.

I think Ifmx will make least 20% more short lists and win at least 20% more deals than the previous quarter over the next 3 quarters - compounded! Plus, the y/y comparisons will be very easy.

I can see $20+ in the mid-term, and possibly more if the market heads more and more in Informix' direction.

I was very encouraged by a report posted today about key wins this qtr. Lots of new customers saying 'We chose Ifmx over Oracle because of its superior technology'. If this gets played up, Ifmx will do very well indeed. On the lower end, we can hope the first release of SQL Server 7, which is a significant rewrite over 6.5, will be riddled with bugs for at least another year.
