ATTENTION..those new to our thread..Please note that we've been very good in keeping with the topic at hand which are questions/strategies on our watch lists which are comprised mostly of GEMS, stocks that are beaten down and fundamentally sound, and in the past 9 months we've added "earnings plays" that have become another integral part of this forum..

For those of you that are new, let me direct you to you a web site that is especially made for "NASDAQ Gems....." Our new URL is marketgems.com just click on the link marked "NASDAQ gems web page" and you will find some of the past posts gathered together under their particular topics.. Please come back and visit us, after we've stopped being a hot subject. This is our fifth time in the last 12 months.

Barbara...

Lets be nice now - he asked a legitimate question - there are a lot of things posted in financial rags that are worthless to certain types of traders - inventories are good for longer term investors, but for short termers they are pretty worthless. Same is true with P/E and others numbers if you are just a Position or Day Trader in a lot of cases. And in some small cap and sector specific screens I don't even use fundamentals (Jenna faints here) If someone ever comes out with a newsletter that just lists more of the stuff I use, and less of the 'classical' info it could save a lot of time. Just a thought, and I mean this in the kindest possible way.

We're not accountants! We're reporters. And when we've got just a few short inches to tell a story of a company's quarter/year, it never hurts to find out what folks think are of the highest priority.
