Jim and All,

Vaughan Meader (sp) comes to mind, but I believe he was the Official Kennedy Spoofer. Also, I don't recall him having dark hair. There was (the late <?>)Lee Gorshin, but he was blond. I still think it probably was Rich Little. I remember at the time, noting that he and Nixon shared a first name. But I'll keep thinking.

BTW, I looked up "The Smothers Comedy Brothers Hour" in one of my venerable reference works but don't see any regular stars listed who would answer your description. I'll keep looking though. This is very important!

Holly

Jim, could it be David Frye? He did a great impression of LBJ on the
Smothers Bros. Show. I have a vivid recollection of him (as LBJ) looking directly into the camera and saying "I never lied to you. I may
have kidded you a little, but never lied." And he referred to Lynda
Byrd and Lucie as "my two semi-beautiful daughters".
