13% is still a large profit if that was sold today by Biden.

And yes, I too remember Trump didn't have any support by the Democrats controlling the House who didn't want to "help the oil industry" which was a reason I avoided investing there... too big a headwind long term.

Another reason I didn't vote for Trump is he did not use "people skills" to plead his case to the Democrats that "helping the oil companies" was really a way to "help the working people" as it would give a floor to oil prices and thus help with inflation in the long run until ALL fossil fuels are replaced by renewables in 50 to 100 years.

It was another example of how the two sides NOT working together hurt the people just so they could throw feces at each other. I believe I did not vote for ANY incumbent in the 2020 election for this reason.
