Great Post. The main enemy for people and countries is themselves. It didn't used to be like that. But it is now. The greatest danger to individuals is what they do and don't put in their mouths to eat or inhale. Then their choices about what to do. The greatest danger to countries is their political choices on how to run their own country. USA was once far and away the greatest as Ayn Rand described. It was still horrible in its function but much better than other places. But it's now a pale shadow of what it was. USA did great having Made in China cheap production, but like Great Britain with North Sea oil, frittered it away with nothing to show for it. Now Americans are becoming the low cost producers. Starting a nuclear war with Russia was a bad idea. Maybe USA will stop doing it in time, but they seem hell bent on keeping going ... see Greenspirit, Joachim etc... right here in SI. So it's not just DementiaJoe10%, Hunter, Nancy, Chuck, Lindsay, and evil Co conspirators; it's the suckers who believe their own propaganda. Jim Jones Heavens Gate, etc... it's popular to go MAD in USA for some reason. It's odd that Henry Kissinger agrees with me. Probably just in part. But good to see Elon belatedly came to my point of view. Though he was 100 000 lives and 100s of $billions and several provinces and great property damage and great terror too late. Mqurice

The main enemy for people and countries is themselves. The ultimate corruption is ignorance of a people as it is the sole basis of high flying ... It didn't used to be like that. But it is now. Has always been, only in good time (of sane polies) that it was relatively weightless.
