OFF TOPIC .... posting URLs from frames.

This works with IE3.02 .... not sure about Netscape procedure.

It sounds involved but after you do it once it's really quite simple.

To get the URL of a source page displayed in a 'frame' :

1. get the desired page on screen.
2. Move the mouse pointer into the frame containing the desired page and right click once to display a pop-up menu (if there are graphics do NOT put the pointer over them when you right click).
3. Select 'properties' on the popup menu.
4. The properties window appears showing the source document URL about mid-window.
5. Block select the address text with the mouse (point at start of address, hold left mouse button down, drag to end of address, release left mouse button ... it should now appear in blue)
6. copy the address to the 'Windows clipboard' (ctrl+c ... or use Edit/Copy option on top menu)
7. close the properties window
8. go to the SI post you want to create and paste it in (ctrl+v ... or use Edit/Paste menu commands)

ebda...ebda...ebdaaats all folks.......

JD

ps. keep in mind that when you use this type of link you only load the single document specified as a full screen document (ie. none of the other frames.....)
