That makes a lot of sense. I think the headwinds are very real since we don't have the benefit of short term rates falling from 18% we were getting in the newly formed "Franklin Money Market Fund" back when I got a variable home loan on my first home in 1984 at 14%... while a lot of our parents had CAL-VET loans at around 4.0% in the 1980s.

There is a TON of money in private equity that probably won't make a positive return... and there is still a lot of growing pains with investing in delivery systems such as my ordering several drip irrigation parts for a few bucks each and getting free delivery with no minimum order (Not Amazon Prime... they've figured out how not to do this so often.)
