I wonder if W98 is 'going toward' X? Won't know 'til it's out!

What I find interesting is the way NT is moving into the future. Right now, it's hell to maintain and admin without lots of add-on tools. To make it actually workable, it's turning more and more into Unix. sed, awk, perl, ksh, tcsh, gnu, etc. Implementing a real multi-user environment with a network transparent gui is going to make NT almost close enough to call Unix with a MSFT look, and a higher TCO ;)
