Why "those people" don't understand that, is beyond me. If the restaurant boss tells the young waitress to sleep with him or lose her job, I guess to some twisted thinkers that would be her choice. "Those people" will always think what their Liberal politicians tell them to think. I know because I once was one of them. I blindly believed them. Until they crossed a line and thankfully I realized I was not one of them and will never be. For example, "they" would have never allowed sex ed class to kindergarteners, until the government says it's ok, then they willingly accept it. Never would "they" sign their children up to be science experiments until their government says it's recommended, then they want it. Never would they believe a teachers rights supersede the students, until the gov says it's ok then they're proud of the teacher for being so bold. Maybe it boils down there are two groups, people who think there's too much government control in their lives, and people who think there's too little.

Wife is a nurse in a hospital now. Few if any of the nurses in the hospitals in the area are getting the third vax booster because most had bad reactions to the first two. The hospitals forced them to get the first two vaxes at threat of losing their jobs. The hospitals are not forcing them to get further vaxes, perhaps because there is now a severe crisis in healthcare stemming from the fact that many nurses got the hell out of healthcare in the last two years. If the hospitals lose anymore nurses they will be forced to close parts of the hospitals for lack of staff. Wife is on medical floors. They are always running short because nurses phone in sick to get out of shifts. The emergency departments have nearly closed multiple times for lack of staff. Many operations are being cancelled for lack of staff. You don't want to have to go to a hospital now. Wait times can be as much as 24 or more hours and care can be compromised because of lack of staff. If you get admitted you may be in the hallway for days. Best place to go if you want to get Covid or some other infectious disease is your friendly neighbourhood hospital.
