Wharfie,
Weren't you crying about his SPR release?
- The release was weak and only meant to score political points.

- The Democrats have a long history of drawing from the Strategic Political Reserve.

- Even climate change zealots like you realize that the release is temporary and can't outlast anything OPEC and RuZZia can do.
That's what happens when you are addicted to oil; can't live with it, can't live without it. If we had continued on the renewable path in '81, or went back on it in '91, or Y2K, we might be weaned by now; but....we didn't.
Coulda shoulda woulda is no excuse for repeating the same mistakes that allowed PooTin to get rich, grab Europe by the balls, and throw hundreds of thousands of bodies into the meat grinder that he set up in Ukraine.

"Hey, I have a great idea! Why don't we continue being hostile to oil, thereby creating supply shortages that drive up the price? If someone blames us, we can just point out how we coulda shoulda woulda ended our addiction to oil back during the Obama era!"
