2% GDP is what reported. I doubt it. 1.4B population requires economy in high gear and hungry markets to sell too. The fear is prolonged episodes of hyperinflation with stimulus printing to maintain financial obligations. Energy and food, most imported and the increased cost of those goods runs the economy in the ground which erases what is left of the country's wealth, thus forcing people into bartering.
