SyQuest's fundamentals.

It amazes me that SyQuest is still not bankrupt. They've increased
their outstanding shares from 15MM to 70MM in a year's time. How much
longer can they continue to dilute their stock?

While studying their balance sheet, two numbers jumped out at me.

First, their inventories now stand at 32MM. That is approximately
12-14 weeks of inventory. This number is up from 26MM in September.
(Partly due to SparQ inventory?)

The second is gross profits. For 3Q 1997, gross profit = 0%.
Somehow for the 4Q 1997, they cite gross profits = -26%.

I wonder how much they lose with each SparQ drive. They want to
make this the foundation of their future growth?

I suspect SyQuest will either have 200 million outstanding shares
or be bankrupt by 3Q 1998.
