"Wharfie, you realize that, if our strategy for winning the war in Ukraine is 'Don't be like Trump' then the war is going to last for far too long? " It already has lasted too long. Unfortunately Putin didn't surrender when he lost his prize ship. I think our strategy is to let Ukraine strategize and do what we can to support them. Right now, i think they won't be willing to stop until the 2014 boundaries are restored, and I'm not sure a possible successor to Putin would accept that; Putin won't for sure. The Russian people might have to force the issue. As for oil, I'm uncomfortable with drawing down the SPR, so I want to see it re-filled.
