Canada: Green Party leader says ‘I take marching orders from the official representative of Palestine to Canada’

Although not clearly stated in the article below for some reason, the “Canadian politician” who said said “I take marching orders from the official representative of Palestine to Canada” is Green Party leader Elizabeth May.

Not only should such treason not be tolerated in Canada’s political landscape, but the implications of May’s allegiance to the “official representative of Palestine to Canada” is troubling. The Palestinian leadership has made no secret of its intention to obliterate Israel from the (Jordan) River to the (Mediterranean) Sea, and encourages, celebrates and rewards jihad martyrdom, which involves killing unbelievers and being killed in the process.

This isn’t the first time that Elizabeth May has glorified questionable people. During a press gallery dinner speech in 2015, she hollered onstage:

Omar Khadr, you’ve got more class than the whole f—–g cabinet.

Omar Khadr is a former child jihadist who was convicted of murdering an American soldier in Afghanistan and partially blinding another U.S. soldier with a hand grenade. Despite all that, Khadr’s lawyer was out for big dollars — $20,000,000 in “compensation” from Canadian taxpayers — and sought a formal apology. The government of Justin Trudeau decided to dole out $10,500,000 to Khadr and issue an apology for some alleged abuse and shoddy treatment that the jihadi supposedly endured in Guantanamo.

For background about MP Omar Alghabra, who was also present in honor of Meshwar Media editor Nazih Khatatba, see HERE.

Meshwar has glorified jihad terror groups and called for the destruction of Israel.

Vitriol against Israel is becoming increasingly normalized in Canada, while political correctness continues to flourish. It is also noteworthy how the action of the all-party Canada-Palestine Parliamentary Friendship Group in inviting Khatatba does not match the words of its Chair Salma Zahid, who condemned antisemitism.

“‘I take marching orders from Palestinian rep,'” Jerusalem Post, December 3, 2022:

Canadian Transport Minister Omar Alghabra and Green Party Leader Elizabeth May met and hosted known antisemite, Holocaust denier and Meshwar Media editor Nazih Khatatba on Tuesday, according to an antisemitism watchdog.

“Two days ago, Canadian Members of Parliament, including Federal cabinet minister Omar Alghabra and Green Party Leader Elizabeth May, met with and hosted a dangerous antisemite and Holocaust denier,” Documenting Antisemitism Canada reported on their Twitter account.

A Canadian politician, standing in front of a Canadian flag and a Palestinian flag, dressed in a kfiyah as well as a Palestine scarf said, “I take marching orders from the official representative of Palestine to Canada.”

“Particularly at a time when Canadians are increasingly concerned about foreign interference in Canadian politics, no Canadian elected official should get their ‘marching orders’ from a foreign government and its official representatives,” The Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) wrote on their Twitter with a video of the Canadian politician saying this.

“The all-party Canada-Palestine Parliamentary Friendship Group hosted a reception for the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on November 29,” chairman Salma Zahid, who hosted Khatatba, wrote in a Twitter thread. “The invitation was circulated widely within the Palestinian community and nearly 150 people attended.”

“We were unable to research the history of every attendee,” she continued. “I have long been a voice against antisemitism and all forces of discrimination based on faith. In 2016, I spoke in the House of Commons to condemn several recent antisemitic incidents and antisemitism in general…..
