I read last week that the volume is so thin that as little as $3M can move the index by a tick. So there is that.

I have to wonder how funds would want to window dress their holdings and/or position for next Q or how individual investors may want to take profits off the recent bounce to offset their losses. Perhaps XLE will go down more than it deserves.
