Interesting concepts. I would have guessed your views are based from an engineering discipline/perspective. As to cancer having unbounded perpetual growth typically cancerous growths are still subject to the same immutable forces that exist throughout nature. Either they outstrip nutrient supply or destroy there substrate host through various mechanisms.

I pretty much agree with most of what you said except that most cities were built on conservative values then became liberal as they devolve.
I grew up in St Louis. It has an amazing history from being the base for westward expansion to the world's fair where the ice cream cone was accidentally invented and electric lights were demonstrated. It was a safe city with free zoo, art museum etc with the exception of 2-3 suburbs up until the 1980s-90s. Now it's a crime ridden hell hole. I originally had planned on working at BA there but couldn't expose my family to the risk.
I instead came to Springfield. It was nice for a while but they kept complaining we didn't have enough diversity. They spent all kinds of money to appeal and draw in that diversity. Our taxes started climbing to the moon and crime started climbing too. Guess what? We were listed as the most dangerous city in Missouri this year. Yeah!!! And people wonder why I moved a few years ago.
I was in Boise in the 90s. It was wonderful until MU and HWP came and brought the California liberals with them and it started going downhill, crime started rising etc.
Same thing with Denver in the 70-80s.
The same happens with countries and empires. They are built on time proven solid principles and destroyed by liberal new ideas that sound good in a perfect lollipop unicorn and rainbow fantasy world but not in the real world.
You can't force one man to work and make him feed and cloth the other 99. Notice how liberals are antigun but have private armed security. How they are pro undocumented immigrants until they are delivered to their neighborhoods. They want green energy but not where they live. Ban straws but get food delivery in plastic containers via door dash. It's NIMBY on steroids, do as I say, not as I do.
I follow a celebrity private jet tracker. All these hippocrates screaming about how us peons need to go back to the stone age to save the planet then jetting off in their private plane to get back to their 50 room energy consuming mansion. Pleeease! Jimmie Kimmel selling out spewing his nightly PC routine when he initially was the host of girls on trampolines.
It's all so fake.
On the other hand, the MAGA crowd are another chapter that would take me too much time to write about too.
Like AJ said, we've lost the middle. We probably won't get it back. I saw yesterday that they've programmed ChatGBT to be unable to say anything good about fossil fuels or nuclear energy.
We're going to look real foolish after we've spent trillions on energy sources that become obsolete 10-20 years down the road and then pollute from the landfills they get dumped in.
