Fugazi, it was never my intention to hurt your feelings. Sorry about that. << Relax, there is no need to throw insults at me. Why don't you show some manners. >> The only part of my note that could be mistaken as an insult is when I asked you if you were tonyt's younger brother. If you consider that an insult, I'm sorry. But..... are you? See...... I'm showing some manners! << I should clarify my remarks ... >> YES! One of the reasons that I posted to you was because you were giving misinformation, IMHO. Also, nothing, in this recent post to me, has information concerning LGND. You give predictions about LGND going down, but do not back it up with any reasonable explanation. Your comments, in general, imply, to me, that you are young and inexperienced in the market. This should not be taken as an insult by you, IMHO. I guess, for some reason, you want investors to think that you are an experienced, knowledgeable investor or analyst. Time will tell if you succeed at this. << "I don't recall a stock price going up in the long run based solely on the hype of products not yet on the market." >> This is why I think that you are inexperienced. If you want, I'll provide you a list of biotechs that have appreciated over time "based solely on the hype of products not yet on the market". Of course, some of these "hyped" products resulted in earnings "in the long run". << Short term jumps on short term good news usually isn't supported over the long haul if the product doesn't come to market. >> Good grief! You've just proved my point! Here is what you had said earlier, of which I politely pointed out to you. << I don't ever recall a stock price going up because the company has a great product. It goes up because their great product is making the company huge sums of money! >> This reads quite clear to me. But! Many biotech stocks have shown significant appreciation, in the long run, well before their products come to market. It is the nature of the beast. Of course, you can come back now and change everything that you had said earlier. But, in that original post, you were quite specific. Now, you say that you should clarify your remarks. This is what leads me to believe that you are quite young and inexperienced in the market. If you want to play with the big boys, you should do a little better on your homework. Why did I take issue with your remarks??? To others it should be obvious. During the time that LGND went from $18 to around $11, some investors were down considerable sums of money. The last thing that they need is disinformation, or some young, inexperienced investor making jokes about their losses. If, at some time, you have something of substance to write regarding LGND, instead of unsubstantiated predictions, I'd be more than pleased to read it. Regards, and good luck, Bob (See...... Good manners!)
