I'd suggest a trip to SF, Portland and Seattle and hang with the skinny hipsters with tats, side shaved heads, androgynous clothing and makeup, etc... or get a list of who Musk fired at Twitter HQ in SF... but are still deep inside the big tech companies that mine our info...

I doubt "the truth" matters to them any more than "the truth" about what Trump actually said or stood for matters today.

My niece with a BS & masters degree (5-yr program) works for a large, private design company in the central part of the US doing theme park rides on both coasts... she can afford to rent a 2b home in a fairly large city on her own but she's been brainwashed to believe her generation can't afford to buy a home of their own as our generation destroyed that opportunity. I'm trying to formulate ways in my head to teach her how I overcame far worse odds...

Anyway, the HS and college kids here plus my far left leaning friends say the energy companies were/are far worse than the tobacco companies since they don't have to smoke but they have to live with global warming that those energy companies lied about not being a problem.

Just eye balling the CVX chart, it looks like it did nothing (in ups and downs) from 2010 to sumer 2021, and then since summer 2021 it went up about 70%.

11 years of doing nothing isn't too inspiring. What do you guys chalk that "lost decade" up to?

I sold 80% of my CVX recently just because the chart makes me think it isn't a long term over time winner. Glad I didn't buy it in 2010.

I know they're big in oil and gas, other than that don't know much of the Chevron story.
