Reminds me of when I bought a nice chunk of AMAT for my ROTH about 10 years ago when it had a 4.0% dividend at $11.40... the buy earlier at $13.50 was nice too in retrospect but it shows how they can keep falling well past a great valuation.
3%. Wow. Last time I looked at this stock I remember it being something around 8-9.

I'm with you and Elroy about not buying "safe dividend stocks" after they have doubled and the dividend is down 50% and "funds to manage chasers" who don't post an actual performance record are promoting the stocks that have doubled...

Holding with a low cost basis is fine... but I'd sure take profits.
