I feel so bad about this. I "knew" him from his Florida days, before he moved away. I'll miss his SI contributions very much. Rest in Peace... EK!!!

Sorry to hear this. I never had any interaction with him here on SI. I notice however I have been through his hometown hundreds of times. Had I known I would have stopped sometime and had a live chat. He sounds like a good person.

I’m a train wreck. I don’t post on SI because no matter what you say, someone will argue. I’m done with that nonsense… looking the grim reaper in the eye gives you a different perspective I’m not using Hospice yet, for a few reasons. When I do it’ll be at home. All I can say is enjoy what you’ve got, while you’ve got it. Money is nothing towards the end. Just digits on a computer somewhere. You won’t care. BTW the Chinese balloon flew almost over our house in NC. On Saturday. What a hoot. Thanks to all. John
