Re: the general market bottom

I find two scenarios reasonable: The first, we revisit the lows by February, whether we take it or not. And then we rise in April/May.

The second: we muddle through and bounce up into April/June timeframe. Then we roll over in Q3 and possibly revisit March of 2020 (I am not in the camp of revisisting 2008, though nothing can be ruled out this far in advance).

I get the idea that market is forward looking and the best buying is when there's blood on the street and all that.

But is anyone here buying the chips? If so, I'd like to hear their reasoning. I am not judging; just wanting to hear the bullish perspective.
