I do a weekly market update of a table of data and in this is the CPC plus its 10 and 30 day MAs. When all are above 1.0, they get highlighted in yellow. We're seeing massive yellow much like we see near other major bottoms. THis is the same table I am updating ECRI's WLI data on right now. I still don't see confirmation of a turn in the cycle to a new bull market. We have had some great days for the NYSE but nothing approaching an even 80% upside day on the Nasdaq. Is Cramer "defensive" now? That is or would be a good sign... It may say the Oct 22 low was similar to the 2008 low where many of my stocks bottomed and were up double by the time the overall market bottomed in 2009... so we could have it both ways.
