Mr. Maza:

>>>They don't make money and EDS has absolutely nothing to do with the internet or communications. <<<<<

You could not be more wrong. At one time EDS was WCOM's largest customer and WCOM was EDS's biggest client. EDS operates one of the largest communication system networks in the world. I own my present shares of WCOM because for a time, EDS was considering buying WCOM to make use of the Williams Co fiber optic network. I bought with the idea of a large premium being paid for WCOM. I am very happy now that it didn't happen.

EDS use to be a very profitable company but things have not gone well for them the last couple of years. I am told, it has to do with with some of the exit conditions imposed upon them by GM when they
were spun-off by GM.

I haven't followed EDS since WCOM got too big for them. However, they are a great company, a leader in their field.

Regards,

Ken

addendum: I wouldn't characterize EDS's earnings of $740 million of the last 12 months as being "no money" WCOM lost $1.9 billion over the same 12 months.
