Amen to that, My Dad had a 5 year struggle with Alzheimer's. They call it "the long goodbye". In the end, I was more worried about my mother's well being, as it consumed her while being his caretaker until the end. Ultimately it overwhelmed her efforts. In particular the emotional part of it all, is cruel! It scares me to even think of it as a genetics thing. I hope and pray they find a solution/cure or preventative drug. It impacts so many! Bob
