Re: Older Folk Portfolio ... Add On Buys

Under the current condition of the market, I continue to buy small, but buy often, and in this case buying small is $2,000 lot sizes.

The following positions were added to today:

PG ... 13.808 shares @ $144.85

This brings PG up to a $156,901 position size with a new cost basis of $97.35, a price I am sure many people would be willing to pay.

A full equity position in this portfolio is $80,000 so that makes PG overweight by almost 2x a full position. PG is also the largest position in this portfolio.

The company actually raised their expectations going forward.

“We delivered solid results in the second quarter of fiscal year 2023 in what continues to be a very difficult cost and operating environment,” CEO Jon Moeller said. “Progress against our plan for the fiscal year to date enables us to raise our sales growth outlook for fiscal 2023 and maintain our guidance range for EPS growth despite significant headwinds.”

The company now expects all-in sales to range from down 1% to flat from the prior year, up from the prior forecast of -3% to -1%.
