DavidG - you have mentioned a few times, concern about Iraq,
so I looked back at the data on the gulf war.
The bombing started after the market close on Jan 16th, 1991.
The DOW closed at 2508.91.
The following morning, it gapped UP at 2570.30, and closed
up 114.6pts, or 4.6%, at 2623.51.
MU closed on Jan 16th, 91 at 2.25, and closed the following
day at 2.28, up 1.3%.
So, if Clinton takes any action over there, I don't know if it
will have much effect on the market, based on the past.
