Direct from ACCY web site:

"Star players and large prize money virtually guarantee strong television ratings with the much sought after golf demographic
audience."

IMO, this could be interpeted as stating the Classic series will
be televised, or it could be just stating a fact without saying
the Classic will be televised. My feeling, as it is stated in their
web site is they expect to be on T.V."

Can anyone besides Steph. Rosenberg confirm this will be televised?

Genarro: given that we have seen a press release each Monday for the past two weeks, my best guess is a monday release. releasing news on a friday is generally less of an impact anyway. I have not heard any confirmation on any rumor. Here is what my logic tells me. The deal with Superstition Mountain was a recent undertaking but it now provides great motivation for Jack Nicklaus to assist in ensuring the completion of this tournament and the widest possible exposure for it, given his input and stake in Superstition Mountain. I'd be willing to bet that both Nicklaus and Lyle Anderson would very much like a successful, widely viewed tournament to mark the opening of one of the country's most prestigious and newest golf courses. (and this is all speculation on my part, so I hope nobody jumps on me for this - is that enough of a disclaimer? :) I would think that after Superstition Mountain became a reality, we probably saw deals pushed through very quickly. With close proximity to the Tradition, Jack probably could call upon any of his best buddies with "hey, c'mon over and play my new course for this intimate 6 team, 12 man tournament. I'd like to have a great lineup for the introduction of my new course plus it's a perfect practice round with no pressure before the Tradition." I'm betting deals have definitely started taking place to make the introduction of Superstition Mountain a winner. Just my thoughts. That, of course, is on top of the tribute to David Marr and the already impressive background of both Damian and David Marr, Jr. We'll see if I'm right. I look forward to early next week. Could surprise me tomorrow but I doubt it. Hanging on long and strong. Assuming this first tourney goes off with a bang, this stock will be a truly fun one to hold.
