It's my humble opinion (ok, so it's not so humble. Cut me some slack.) that McCaw, Akerson et al won't give a moment's thought to a buyout at this stage in NXTL's development. Why should they? NXTL is currently king of the mountain in digital wireless growth and they're destined to grow to garganuan size in not-too-long-a-time. $45? Why should shareholders sell dollar bills for fifty cents when they'll be worth one to two dollars in a few years? Arnie
