As soon as a mask has ANY leakage its effectiveness goes to almost zero. If the mask does seal its then classified as a Respirator and you need to be medically qualified with a physical measuring lung and cardio capacity. I worked in Nuclear and we wore respirators and had to get physicals to be cleared to wear them. The whole masking for Covid is complete nonsense.

Others argue that good masks, properly worn should make a difference. In real life, very few people do that. I did see it, on occasion.
I have not been to see my doc in a couple months. Last time I was there, they were requiring masks for everyone. This is a medical complex associated with the Providence system hospital in Missoula. I asked a nurse if she thought they’d end the mask requirement and she sighed and said it seems permanent.

Must suck to work there and have to wear a mask all day.
