just returned from dinner w/ american couple of the jewish faith, friends of many years, decamping San Francisco for Thailand, to sidestep 2024

they say they cannot talk about Covid vaccination w/ their friends and neighbours in San Francisco

they can sidestep vaccination by staying low key in Thailand, and if necessary, give some gifts

they have opted out

Practically speaking, vaccine manufacturers are almost completely immune from lawsuits for COVID-19 pandemic countermeasures’ harms, and this includes COVID-19 vaccines, both vaccines under an EUA and vaccines licensed for COVID-19. This is because of the PREP Act declaration that covers pandemic countermeasures.
