"There's a lot of money to be made in equities of companies that almost go bankrupt.....but don't."

this one does sound spooky. will look more into it. I was spooked when I first saw your mention of UAN and that turned out to be one of the best performing stocks that year. Do you have any other "deep value" trades?

The NGL CFO just bought some of the common units at $2.79. That's pretty encouraging that the balance sheet is going to get spruced up.

NGL's bankers adjusted the partnership's revolver capacity from $500m to $600m. That also indicates the banks sort of think this mess is going to get cleaned up.

I think this debt laden MLP mess called NGL is worth a look.

Ok, here's a spooky pick. Although it's high risk, it is definitely "deep value" as it was feared the partnership would go bust, and that pushed the unit price down to a single dollar in Q4 2022.

NGL - it's an MLP in the midstream energy business.

$9 billion in annual sales, market cap about $280 million. The fiscal year ends in March, and for March 2023 fiscal year they are expecting $630m in EBITDA, up from about $540m last year.

If this partnership can stabilize their balance sheet the unit price is going to be closer to $10 than $2......it's worth putting on the radar. Any balance sheet experts, I'd love to read others' opinions......
