yep, neolibcon private equity-based restructuring, beginning with the 2001 militarist no-man-left-behind campaign, has effectively destroyed u.s. public education, while leaving private school education essentially untouched. privilege has its benefits, seemingly for the select few at the expense of the many... gotta wonder if teotwawki will reach beyond the masses.
