Michael, there are many reasons why the ruling is not forthcoming, not the least of which is that the SC is buying time for all parties to reach a mutually acceptable agreement and to give them a little leeway to plan for the aftermath. (And whereas I once did, I do NOT include PDG in this group anymore.) I've said it before and I'll say it again. This case is important far beyond its seemingly limited scope. It is NOT just about two Canadian companies slugging it out to see who gets the prize. The gold in Las Cristinas is just a piece of this puzzle. Another very important (and some would say MOST important) piece of this puzzle is the power struggle between conflicting branches of government (and the ensuing constitutional crisis) that this conflict has created. The SC and the MEM are at a crossroads. From all indications, it would seem that these two groups are coming to terms with this conflict and, in so doing, are deciding the future of Venezuela as we speak. (None too coincidentally, the maestro orchestrating this accommodation is none other than KRY's own Ambassador Paris.) Also integral to these talks is the future of mining in Venezuela. A future that includes an environmentally friendly approach as well as consideration for the indigenous peoples of Venezuela. All of this takes time to accomplish. The SC could care less about your schedule or mine. It will wait as long as necessary until all is prepared and ready to go. The entire scenario will then unfold as it should in a quick and orderly fashion. The SC decision is just a part of the evolving pattern and some would say that it may not even be an important part of this pattern anymore. Again, Mr. Paris is at the forefront of ensuring that this vision comes about. Mr. Paris is over eighty years old and is in the twilight of a very distinguished career on the world's diplomatic stage. Do you really think a man of his stature needs to get involved in any of this for the sake of making a few measly dollars? No, he is involved because he sees Crystallex as his vehicle for this dynamic vision of a new Venezuela. He also recognizes that the principals behind Crystallex have the moral fibre and financial clout to make this vision a reality. Have you EVER seen a junior company with a board of this calibre? There are Fortune 500 companies that would kill to have this board. These people do not get involved in scams and pump-and-dumps despite what the Carls and Vipers of the world might have you believe. A wise man once told me: Do not invest in companies, invest in people. Forget all the legal babble, forget all of the market analyses, forget all of the verbal jousting on these Internet forums. Simply look at the people behind Crystallex. This is why I invested in Crystallex in the first place and this is why I continue to feel very confident in a bright future for this company. Just one man's opinion. Ciao.
