I suspect that you are right ... what a mess. Got to feel sorry for those people. They are a resourceful bunch, but IMO this mess is going to take a few years before it even _begins to improve.

I also think that the real magnitude of the Asian financial fiasco will not unfold until the Olympics are done .... the Japanese do not want to ruin the moment with economic woes.
