I am guessing that the former BFLY CEO spent too much money and failed to grow the revenue accordingly and got fired by the founder who is now the interim CEO. Their inventory is growing too fast and revenue falling. They are cutting cost (a lot!) and claiming that the revenue will be backloaded. So for the next Q flat and then a 17% YOY growth.

IF they can pull this off, then BFLY is a good investment here. They have enough money not to go belly up for another 2 years. I can see how a recession could help or hurt them. Help is that maybe some places will buy BFLY handhelds to augment their bigger more expensive units rather than buy the big units. Or hurt b/c nobody will want to invest in a new gizmo and just does with what they have or they know.

I am very bullish on IOT and connected devices as a trend. It just doesn't mean individual companies will do well.

Butterfly Network BFLY shares soared 22% Tuesday pre-bell, a day after the company said the US Food and Drug Administration has approved its artificial intelligence-enabled Auto B-line Counter for lung evaluation.

Several brokerages rendered favorable opinions on BFLY today. I think it's important that BFLY is now on their radar.

The chart looks terrible and I am not catching this falling knife (no positions). But I do have GTC buys on it at lower levels and will consider buying it once it shows strength.
