The drug wars have caused immigration. Obviously. There's so much money in it because of prohibition. The Libertarians were of course right all along... 90 years of drug wars have accomplished nothing excepting putting trillions into the pockets of drug cartels, crooked cops, and they've destroyed any chance of a decent life for hard working poor people living in 3rd world countries to the south. They've damaged our economy putting millions of people into non-productive jobs and millions more behind bars, The drug wars are responsible for killing thousands of the children of Americans left OR right... the same way wood alcohol killed and crippled thousands during prohibition.
