Surething, That's sort of my biggest concern with this mess. Do you remember, there was a person on this thread saying that this whole thing was an orchestrated attempt at a coup? I can't remember who it was and don't really care to go back through 6000+ posts just now. I never took any interest in the Royal Famiy's snafus either. Do you remember the Profumo thing from the early 1960s" I can't remember much about it at all, just some of the disconnected names that were bandied about back then. As you can see, it really made an impression on me. <vbg> I think I'm about to go night-night. But we'll see. Holly

Diinner'd been served, the plates cleaned, and he was SOL. It was only about 25 years back that the Swiss let the ladies begin voting. Wasn't a big deal. They had tradition and the rule of settled law. I suspect it would be a pretty good thing if most of us could ignore and/or just laugh at those bums.

BLACMAIL???? Why have there been no print stories on the most important aspect of the Clinton scandal? It wasn't that Profumo slept with Mandy, It was who else she slept with! How many are there that have the goods on the president? We are aware that even a 24 year old can now have the president find her a job. Who else can leverage the president into who knows what? Linda Tripp? Kathleen Willey? Maybe Starr- maybe even the Israelies or Iraq. And how about Hillary ? You can bet she a sharp point at the soft underbelly of the presidency. This perceived vulnerability of the president is serious even if it isn't likely.... or is it?
