I agree with what you wrote. What's happened to southern Africa in general is a travesty and especially South Africa which should be a leader of the region in terms of natural resources and human potential.

Nevertheless, a funny thing about those $100 Trillion Zimbabwe notes. To be fair since the post below the loose ungraded mint condition notes have declined a bit in price, like most other collectible assets have but the higher graded notes, and the highest graded have held up surprisingly well. In hindsight still wish I bought larger stacks of them considering my sources at the time! hahaha.
