My first buy of AMAT was $3.06 in '96...
Its like buying AMAT at 13,

I can forgive the extra digit.

I've been on house money a couple of times with Chitty... but banks are like rescued pit bulls people think are safe to have around.... so I'm only in the green but could be on house money if I sold ~23% or so of my shares in the newsletter.

Looking back at a 25 year history of Chitty... even with dividends it is STILL below what I paid for my first shares BUT buying in Sept 98 allowed me to take profits and get on house money in '99 so the swings have been painful but I've done well buying when hated and selling into comebacks.
