James, when you consider "human decency and dignity" in the pursuit of justice, you act like something new is going on.

Consider that: In rape cases, a rape victim (not the defendant) is commonly (if not always) required to be present in the same room with the suspected rapist -- AND required to publicly recount every gritty detail of her prior humiliation. -- Where is your outrage in this???

What about murder trials, where jurors are subjected to pictures of grisly, bloody, sometimes mutilated bodies of murder victims? Where's the outrage??

Since when has the pursuit of justice always been a pleasant experience for those involved? Did you ever wonder why Police cars leave their overhead lights flashing when they have you pulled over, even if the vehicles are pulled well off the road? I've been told the reason is to embarrass the person pulled over.

Oh and by the way -- There is NO CODE against forcing mother to testify about their daughter. It's been said by those who know that this happens all the time. Suddenly when the Government (who makes the laws) is subjected to this (Monica worked for the Govt), THEY might not like it! Awwwww...poor babies!

I notice you used the phrase "against their daughter": Are you implying that Monica is guilty of something? Why are you assuming that Ms. Lewis is testifying AGAINST her daughter?
