Skeptic,

I tend to believe that the Y2K earnings potential are purposely being understated by Jenkins in order to both legally protect the company, as well provide those little "surprises" to the bottom line that the market so dearly loves.

We all realize that Y2K will drive short-term earnings and lay the foundation for consolidation and acquisitions that will sustain valuations past 2000. This is how I would play this theme were I he.
For every Fortune100 contract that TPRO is engaged in, I see many other businesses scrambling to use TPRO's database to expedite their in-house remediation and compliance efforts. Accessing the database is like having a #900 number. Every Internet dial-up equates to a nice sounding "ching-ching" in the company's coffers.

This is also an area that would be very difficult to assess the potential of and thus, I don't think Jenkins was willing to stick his neck out legally to include expected earnings from usage of the database by businesses that may never formally engage TPRO in consulting services.

I fully expect RW Beck to be acquired as well as any credible firms like them in stock transactions. Republic Industries did just this in what would seem to be a far less lucrative industry and they did it basically with no cash, just stock.

Thus, I value this stock rather high by the end of 1998. You must remember that the market will value this company on 1-2 year out expectations, especially in a hot sector like Y2K. Unless, of course, you think Y2K is all hype like a certain TPRO Nay believes.

Regards,

Ron
