I guess I still have brain fog... Apple is currently over $165. The comment you replied to did not mention Apple specifically...
AAPL did go below 161, but it didn't stay there. My statement was conditional and remains valid. IF AAPL stays below 161, it will likely go to 147. We'll probably know the answer this week.

I see Apple hit resistance but its neckline and target for a new ATH are still in play.
I suspect that sell in May and go away will prove to be the case this year. But I won't fight the tape. If I see a sustained strength, I will switch from short to long.

I think the presidential election cycle will dominate. That means Captain Biden will burn all the furniture and decking (deficit spending) on the 2023 USS Titanic to keep it steaming forward at full throttle so he can get another 4 years and perhaps pull the House back to Democrats.
