Halo was interesting & the hope is the plot thickens if they make season 2. Marvel & SW’s are just the same movie over & over but 2 of my kids work for Lucas Films so I’m obligated to watch…ditto with Mandalorian which is getting interesting.

Dune can never be made into a good screenplay. There are stories that make great movies. And those that make great books. Dune is exclusively the latter b/c it is too cerebral; so much of it is about what each character is thinking and planning rather than what they are doing. Halo was much better than I had expected. I am looking forward to season 2. I also like The Peripheral and want to see season 2, though I suspect it won't be as good as season 1. We shall see.
