I want to see a trailer....
Timothée Chalamet has assumed his rightful place as Muad’Dib, prophet of the Fremen in the first trailer for “Dune: Part Two.”
“In the first movie Paul Atredis is a student…we really see Paul Atreides become a leader here,” Chalamet said at CinemaCon on Tuesday, teasing a first look at the sci-fi epic.
And with that newfound power comes the thrill of riding the massive sandworms that populate the remote planet where “Dune” takes place (something brought stunningly to life in the new footage)....
“Dune: Part Two,” which is produced by Legendary and Warner Bros., is set to be released on November 3, 2023.

Do you think baseball will price itself out of business?

One of my favorite weather ladies on the local FOX station today said she wished they kept the money and lowered the prices so people could afford to go to the games... then the male announcer said something about $17 beers....

I remember objecting to SF paying Barry Bonds so much money to leave Pittsburg for SF in the early 1990s. I haven't bought a ticket since then. My mom got free tickets for teaching people to read after she retired and my Dad got tired of the games (expensive food and tight seating) so I took her to one of the games. We got to see Bonds hit a HR and I believe we saw "the big unit" pitch so it was fun... but Mom bought sandwiches from Togos rather than the ball park food! Good memories from when the parents were alive but the games are now for the wealthy to entertain business clients or friends to do rather than buy homes or pay rent while living in parent's homes... not for working class families.
